The Instrument Innovations Trombone Ax Clamp is part of the Instrument Innovations accessories ecosystem.

Each clamp is designed and crafted by master machinist Mike Olsen, whose combination of engineering
precision and musician-focused design sets this product apart. Made from nickel-plated aluminum,
the Ax Clamp is fully adjustable and compatible with all Instrument Innovations Ax Handle and Side Balancer kits. Installation is
simple—no technician required—and once secured, the set screw holds the brace rod for the Ax Handle or Side Balancer solidly in place for consistent,
worry-free use.

I use both the Ax Handle and the Side Balancer on my own horn every day, and the Ax Clamp is the foundation that makes both of them shine. It gives me the versatility and stability I need to dial in the perfect ergonomic setup, no matter what I’m playing.
